Privacy Policy: Healx (GetHealx.com)
Effective Date: August 10, 2026 Operated by: 4vrLive, LLC, a Kansas limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us") Contact: support@gethealx.com Mailing address: Healx, 779 Rd 260, Americus, KS 66835
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Healx (the "Platform") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to Caregivers, Care Seekers, and visitors who browse without an account. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
2. Information You Give Us
All users. Name, email address, and (optionally) phone number. Password credentials are handled by our authentication provider; we never see or store your password.
Caregivers. In addition to the above: credential type; license or certificate number; the name as it appears on the credential; expiration date; the state of licensure; profile photograph; biography; years of experience; services offered; hourly rate that you set; ZIP codes served; and a free-text availability note.
Care Seekers. In addition to the account basics: the ZIP code and care type you search for, and the caregivers you choose to contact.
All users who communicate. The content of messages you send through the Platform.
Reviews. Ratings and review text submitted after a confirmed match.
Payment information. We do not collect or store your card number, expiry, or security code. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects that information directly. We receive only a payment confirmation, an identifier for the transaction, and subscription status.
3. Information Collected Automatically
Server and application logs, including IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and timestamps. If you install the Platform as an app and enable notifications, we store a push subscription identifier issued by your browser so we can deliver notifications. You can revoke this at any time in your browser or device settings.
We use only cookies and similar storage that are necessary to keep you signed in, keep your session secure, and remember whether you have dismissed the app install prompt. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. How We Use Information
- To create and operate your account and display Caregiver profiles in search results.
- To check credential information against public registries and display a verification badge showing the registry consulted and the date checked.
- To enable messaging between a Care Seeker and a Caregiver after an unlock is purchased.
- To process the Care Seeker connection fee and the Caregiver subscription, and to manage failed payments, retries, refunds, and disputes.
- To send transactional email and push notifications: new messages, match confirmations, payment problems, credential expiration warnings, and review prompts.
- To detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and keep the Platform secure.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. What Other People Can See
Caregiver profiles are public and visible to anyone, including people who are not signed in, and may be indexed by search engines. A public profile shows your first name and last initial, credential type, verification badge status, photograph, biography, years of experience, hourly rate, services, ZIP codes served, availability note, and any visible reviews.
Your license or certificate number is never displayed publicly and is not included in any public response from the Platform. It is used only for verification and is visible only to you and to authorized Company personnel.
Care Seekers are not listed publicly. A Caregiver sees a Care Seeker's name only after that Care Seeker chooses to contact them.
Reviews are public and attributed generically rather than by name.
6. Who We Share Information With
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, for the purposes described above:
| Provider | Purpose | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, file storage | Account and profile data, messages, photographs |
| Vercel | Application hosting | Request and log data |
| Stripe | Payment processing | Name, email, payment details you enter with Stripe |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery | Name, email address, message content of the notification |
| Push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla, per your browser) | Notification delivery | Push subscription identifier and notification content |
We may also disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the Company; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding twelve months.
7. Retention
We keep account and profile information for as long as your account exists. If a Caregiver profile is unlisted for nonpayment, the data is retained, not deleted, so the profile can be restored on payment. Messages, matches, and reviews are retained to maintain the integrity of the record between both parties. Payment records are retained as long as required for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes, typically at least seven years. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal information except where we must keep it to meet a legal obligation, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, database row-level security that restricts each record to the users entitled to see it, and access controls limiting Company personnel to what their role requires. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Health-Related Information
We are not a healthcare provider, and the Platform is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate. Information you share about care needs is not protected health information under HIPAA.
However, messages between Care Seekers and Caregivers may contain information about a person's health, condition, or care requirements. Do not share more medical detail than necessary through the Platform. Information you send in a message is visible to the person you send it to and is stored on our systems.
10. Your Choices
- Access and correction. You can view and edit your profile information at any time while signed in.
- Deletion. Email us at support@gethealx.com to request deletion of your account, subject to Section 7.
- Notifications. You can turn off push notifications in your browser or device settings, and unsubscribe from non-transactional email using the link in the message. Transactional messages about payments, credential status, and account security cannot be turned off while your account is open.
- Photograph. You can remove or replace your profile photograph at any time.
11. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal information, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to obtain a portable copy, and to appeal a refusal of any of these requests. We do not sell personal information, do not share it for targeted advertising, and do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
To exercise any right, email support@gethealx.com from the address on your account, or contact us at the mailing address above. We will verify your identity before acting and will respond within the period required by your state's law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
California residents. The categories of personal information we collect are identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, and, for Caregivers, professional or employment-related information. We collect them for the business purposes in Section 4, from you directly and automatically from your device, and we disclose them only to the service providers in Section 6. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA as amended.
12. Changes
We will post any updated version here with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in the Platform before they take effect.
